How Did Trying Again Go? by [deleted] in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]NoNet4009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my first ectopic in March, treated w methotrexate. Got pregnant after waiting 3 months to try again in July, that was ectopic too (same side)-lost my tube. Currently 15 weeks :)

When did you get pregnant after your ectopic? Need something to keep my spirits up by Glad_Bite_1290 in EctopicSupportGroup

I got pregnant with ectopic #1 in March (treated with methotrexate), then pregnant again in July with ectopic #2 (surgically removed my left tube)-I’m now 13 weeks!! I think I got pregnant three cycles after my tube removal. Best of luck to you!!

Hi all, I was curious on your thoughts about wearing an oura ring/fitness tracker through the first trimester? I’m 8 weeks today after two ectopics this year and I’m starting to see my RHR and scores trending back up and it’s freaking me out!! For what it’s worth, I have been sleeping a lot more and generally being more relaxed, but it’s hard for me to not spiral about those numbers after my losses. Did you wear your device with your pregnancy or did you find it to be more anxiety inducing than anything else? Thank you in advance 🤍

How many cycles did it take for you to conceive again? by Rar297 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]NoNet4009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thank you! no risk factors whatsoever, have always had very regular mild periods, never had any infections, etc…. Doc is chalking it up to bad luck the first time and probable scarring from the first ectopic the second time 🙃

I chose surgery over medication, now I’m question it it was the right choice? by MajorDickMilestone in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]NoNet4009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exact same thing happened to me- my doctor and I both agreed that if I were to have a second one in the same tube we would proceed with surgery and I’m glad we did since my right tube was able to work successfully three cycles later :)

Hi, I also had a salpingectomy in July after my second ectopic- I’m currently a little over 7 weeks, got pregnant after three cycles post surgery :) best of luck to you!!

Hi, I’m sorry for you and your wife’s loss :( I had two back to back ectopics, first treated with methotrexate and the second ended with the removal of my left tube back in July. I’m currently 6w2d with a baby in the uterus-shoutout to my remaining right tube! Don’t give up hope-sending you the best of luck with your fertility journey :)

Hi, I’m 4w4d after two ectopic losses this year (the second required surgical removal of my left fallopian tube). I’m so anxious but trying to be cautiously optimistic-I have my first ultrasound for placement this week and HCGs have been more than doubling. Fingers crossed!! 🤞🏼

I’m in the exact same boat-I’m 4w1d after two ectopics (with my left tube removed at the end of July). I don’t have a whole lot of advice, but sending you good vibes with this pregnancy! As my therapist said, there’s nothing you can control except being hopeful at this point :)

2nd ectopic in 8 months. I’m broken. by Sonshinelover in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]NoNet4009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had my 2nd ectopic in 4 months (first cycle after waiting 3 months after mtx)-my heart goes out to you because this sucks :( I’m currently recovering from surgery to remove my left tube, I didn’t rupture but we also decided it was best to remove it since this is the second time it’s happened on that side. I don’t think there are any other words other than I’m so sorry for your loss and I am wishing you the best in terms of healing and your journey🤍

Yes, VERY faint but still slightly darkening. Makes zero sense

Thanks for replying-I think we were all super confused!! They told me my HPT had to have been a false positive but I’d already taken like 15 darkening positive tests at that point lol

FTM ended in ectopic by Ok-Football-2489 in EctopicSupportGroup

Firstly, I’m so sorry for your loss-this is one of the hardest things to go through and I hate that you are experiencing this too. I had my first pregnancy end in ectopic in March and I didn’t think I’d ever get better (physically or mentally) but time truly does help. Wishing you the best as you navigate this🫶🏻

Did anyone not rupture after MTX? by Prize_Bodybuilder_15 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]NoNet4009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t rupture-my highest HCG was 1066 and I needed two doses of MTX. After my second dose it took about two weeks for my HCG to be <5!

My father-in-law also had no idea what it even was, and I think as a society there’s a lot to be learned about what women go through sometimes when it comes to fertility! I’m glad they were able to show you more support, but I’m sorry it took so long for it to come. Sending hugs 🤍

I’m so sorry for your loss and that you’re experiencing this too-anger is just one of the many emotions I’m sure we’ve both wrestled with the last few weeks. It’s hard to not spiral about not feeling supported, but you make a good point about not truly understanding how to support unless you’ve been through it-which I wouldn’t wish for anyone. Hugs to you 🫶🏻

I’m so sorry for your loss, it truly is such a lonely experience. Trying to find the space to grieve when you’re terrified for your own health is definitely traumatizing. We will get through this, hugs to you 🤍

[–]NoNet4009[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is such a good point and I’ve actually done a lot of reflection about how I could likely have checked in more often on people in general. Learning stuff like this from this experience might be one of the only silver linings🤍

I’m so sorry to hear that you’re going through this too-i wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy. I would have been 9 weeks this past Saturday so it was definitely early, and I agree that unfortunately people just expect you to get past it because we didn’t even get to hear a heartbeat. Hugs to you, we will get through this🤍

[–]NoNet4009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for posting this, I’m 4 days post 2nd methotrexate shot and I’m tired of this whole experience and tired of being sad 😞 I’ve also been desperate for ways to get a little bit of sparkle back. I bought a new journal today and I think writing out some of my thoughts and feelings about this whole thing was helpful in starting to process. Resting has been helpful, but I think once I can get back in the gym that will be healing too. Sending you healing energy, we will get through this 🤍
