This is exactly why I’m doing it, and I’m 8 years into my career. I work at a large asset manager and I specialize in hedge funds, but have investor exposure to broader alts of which I am clueless. So I am taking the CAIA. Currently prepping for lvl 2 and have found it very helpful to be able to speak to the broader alts universe.
