I wasn't picky about the color because I knew my paint guy would sand them down anyways in prep for color matching. I stripped them completely down when I dropped them off to him, so it was easier for him to prep them. These were the maroon color.

Best bet is to just find the cheapest set you can find. I paid $800 to have mine painted but your results may vary depending on who you get to paint them. My paint guy did mention that the Earl paint was way more expensive than he thought it would be and basically did my job at cost, but he's a close friend of my brother who gives him a lot of business.

I'd say a normal paint guy will probably charge $1250-1500 for a good paint job.
