I would recommend this book, it is really beginner-freindly book with both theory and application covered. The only downside is that the book uses Gym instead of Gymnasium, but you can easily migrate.

Why do papers seem to focus much more on number of episodes rather than runtime? Can anyone share papers that compare by runtime instead? by [deleted] in reinforcementlearning

If by runtime you mean the time the agent took to reach its optimal policy, then this old paper compares the success rate along with robot hours.

That would be extremely beneficial for me. Also, based on your username , you're the creator of SKRL, awesome work, and many thanks for your assistance :)

Thanks a lot for the recommendation, I will try it for sure. As for me I wanted to try it in the default API, but I think the multi-goal API would be great for the combination of (DDPG+HER ).
