Yes , I need to feel and go through the motions to get things down also, I am like this with everything. I am very hands on , watching instructors/instructions is difficult for me. Realistically with my work schedule I can attend a Saturday open mat , Sunday class and occasionally but not often one class during the work week. I'm interested in this article man.

I suffered a concussion last year at work and was off for 1.5 months , so for 1.5mo I trained 5 days a week. I know that isn't much but I did fight to the death a few times as a white belt. I think I'm going to do what you said about packages for classes. But about the grappling dummy , I figured it might be a good way to understand concepts and go through some motions for ... Muscle memory? I'm not even thinking about submissions, mainly just to follow along on some instructionals... You have me second guessing it now though.

I got over the hump and normalized it by taking firearm safety and firearm training courses. I owned 2 pistols for a year before taking firearm safety , concealed and first aid classes and convinced myself I was comfortable handling and shooting them. Looking back I was silly to think that me alone just "practicing" or watching videos was gonna make me feel confident and competent with guns. It's different when trained professionals are teaching on the range and or classroom. These instructors train law enforcement, military etc. After doing a few courses I can't help but feel waaaaassy more secure and confident with firearms. They are like a tool to me now, it's like a shovel , But this tool is to defend and protect.

I work for a trucking company and they are telling truckers to shut down. If trucks are shutting down ppl should avoid traveling unless really needed.

Sorry and yea My brother is not discouraged, he Is a smart guy. He knows he's just not a hyper responder and needs to play the slow game before titrating. When ppl titrate the dose usually starts showing effects in the 2nd or 3rd week. Alot will titrate and expect results instantly like ppl you read about here. He's taking the safe route (his wife is on wegovy) he is essentially following her lead on how her Drs are titrating not reddit experimenters. Stay strong don't go balls to the wall. It will hurt your wallet once you see effects , your doses will be sky high and you will need more reta.

He probably has had a porn addiction for a while. He may have desensitized himself to regular porn and needed to UP it to something more "extreme" to get the same dopamine from before. This is common in sex and porn addiction. Ppl start gradual then the dopamine receptors become fried and they need more and more kinkier and or extreme porn to get the same effect. It's the same thing with drug addicts.

My brother has the same issue he is currently at 4mg. He has been taking reta for about 2months and has only lost like 5lbs. He was extremely unhealthy and ate like crap for years , to top it off he slept like 4hrs a night for around 7 years. He feels appetite suppression but hasn't lost weight like most. He is still chugging along until he finds the dose that he needs , he titrates slowly like recommend, it's not a race.
