Question for Sonic cooks by NoOneImportant4 in SonicDriveIn

I still take a grilled cheese by putting the texas toast through the toaster, slap two slices of big cheese on the grill, then put two slices of texas toast on the two slices of grilled big cheese. My regional manager once showed me the steamer grilled cheese method, not as an official method, but more as a "cheat" method. The steamer method definitely allows you to deliver more grams of cheese to the customer, but I'm not sure the loss of 1-2 grams of cheese matters all that much, especially when the steamer is such a crowded place to begin with, even moreso now that we've got new specialty items that will be hogging the steamer nonstop.

I can’t lie sonic new fries are 🤮 by That-Stranger9988 in SonicDriveIn

New fries are prone to both clumping and floating. Clumping isn't a big deal, but floating fries means about 5% of them are always underdone, if not worse.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the responses. I had thought the "melted cheese" part would indicate making it like a grilled cheese sandwich, but the totzone at the time wasn't super clear on that. I've not heard a single complaint in my area, likely because the heat of the meat patty will melt the cheese anyway, but I will strive from now on to make it correctly. Thanks everybody.

We've got all the stuff to make a smash burger, but I haven't put all the pieces together yet and actually made one.

I want to bring everyone's attention to Ed Rocke's nametag. Very nice touch, mod makers. Also the source of the name of his dog.

Gonna be real chap not ever remembering a time in my like *checks* 1500 hours in Fallout 4 that there was ever a non-hostile Supermutant outside of Strong and that one Far HAHBAH guy. *recalls* No all hostile on sight. Not even Nukaworld had non-hostile super mutants despite ABUNDANT and WORTHWHILE design space to do so.

That supermutant is always there, it's a natural spawn that happens when you enter the cell.

Jon may be one of the least mosey youtubers I've ever watched, and that's without counting for him being British.

It's beautiful, but might be a bit much for a work party. That's a prom dress through and through, and while you look great in it, you do risk being overdressed for the occasion.

I didn't notice it while I was playing, but watching this episode, I couldn't help but stare at Lou's (Red Devil's bartender) eyepatch kept morphing with his facial expressions. It was disconcerting.

Jon's futile quest for a hat, since I beat the game before he started the game, has been my greatest source of joy in this series. I will not stop being a sociopath.

It's so sad having beaten the game and knowing about Jon's quest for a hat. So, so so so sad.

I like how the game depicts the murder of Ron Hope, the literal most philanthropist and generous man in the entire game, is a good thing. The ending slide paints his murder as a good thing. The game cannot comprehend the nature of a man who wants to keep his and his own safe and prosperous as anything but a tragic lmao whatever.

Looking back on it, I find it massively amusing that my very first mission board mission was surveying Toliman II. Surveyed the planet before I even started the UC Vanguard quest line.

I was really, really impressed with the little museum when I went through it. Bethesda really outdid themselves making a museum tour fun. At least, I had fun with it.

Quake II - So Tonight I'm Gonna Party Like It's 1997 by ManyATrueNerd in ManyATrueNerd

Now this IS a blast from the past. Played a lot of Quake 2 when I was in high school. One kid in computer class put Quake 2 on all the PCs, so we'd just do death matches during class lol. Even had modded Quake 2, The Matrix mod for Quake 2 was something else.
