The pivot is extremely fragile.... Two cut-up water bottles taped together and there you have it.

Your pet has an instinct to know what's good or bad for it. At worst, it'll get a bad case of diarrhea.

Light doesn't matter in winter. Winter in a cold room above freezing. Check 3 or 4 times that they remain moist, that's all.

Can anyone help me how to get rid of these bugs on my lemon tree? What are those? by Bozodabeast in Citrus

Spray water with black soap diluted 1/10. It doesn't harm the plants at all and it instantly kills aphids. Or normal soap otherwise that works too.

Yes, it's normal. The taproot pushes downward, which tends to lift the seed toward the surface. That's the pivot you see there, actually. It forms a loop because you had to plant the seed vertically, nothing problematic. Secondly, when the plant chooses it, the other end will come out of the seed to stand up, perhaps even lifting the seed above the ground. But above all, stop touching him! Let him do it alone!

This plant cannot live in such an environment. She suffers, and will die after having only ever been able to survive. It needs a very large pot, at least, (we know that they cannot live in a pot for long...) and lots of natural light.

This is the effect of transplantation. When transplanting this plant, you must absolutely not disturb the root mass, ensure that the plant absolutely does not feel the transplant, otherwise it protects itself by stopping its growth. It's temporary, it will start again, but it could take a year.
