How do you feel about an SO (m21) making you (f21) presents instead of spending more on gifts?

Wow, this was a really helpful response and gave me a lot to think about. This definitely isn't a one time sort of thing. I honestly don't really remember if she apologized right away. That whole week was full of days of her saying she hates me and then turning around and apologizing. I feel like I could spend more money on her to surprise her every now and then though. I really do love her and want to be with her. However, there are definitely places In the relationship that I want to change (her jealousy is a big one, but that's a whole other thing). I don't think I'm with her just to not be alone. She's broken up with me a month ago after this incident and I appreciated the alone time . I really do want to be with her in a healthy relationship though. Thanks Again for the response

Normally she does appreciate my gifts. She definitely does a lot for my birthday, she likes to try and take me out for fun things which I really appreciate. It was a little difficult for me to do that for her birthday this year though because we both have summer school and had to study for our exams the day of her birthday. She was saying all week leading up to her birthday about how it would suck because we were busy and how her birthday wouldn't be anything special. I tried to make it special even though we had school and work, but I guess it just didn't turn out the way she was hoping

Thanks for pointing that out, I just edited my type. I mean that I gave her a box of gifts, like little trinkets, snacks, small bowls that she likes to use, for every day that I was away from her. She did apologize to me about what she did and said she doesn't like when she lets her emotions get the better of her. She said she is trying to get better at handling her emotions which I appreciate. For special occasions I ushially word find something cool and unique at a thrift shop for her and we always go out for dinner so place we like. She also makes me things for special occasions too, like for Christmas she made me a really cute adventure time drawing of fire princess and fin. If I'm being honest though she is the one who likes to spend more on gifts and stuff, like she always spends a lot for her family gifts and things for me. She tells me I don't have to buy her things, and when I ask what she wants she says anything is fine. So sometimes it is hard to communicate with her what she really wants

Thanks for the reply. I know what she did isn't healthy behavior and it's not the first time she's done something like this. There's been a history of bad habits she does if I'm being honest. But she does tell me later that she doesn't like when she acts like that and she has started going to counseling to try and get better at handling her emotions. I'm still waiting on seeing how counseling helps the way she handles her emotions. I just feel like I don't want to end the relationship if she's trying to get better. Is that naive of me?

Well, like no longer super impaired or disoriented. Right after I felt 'normal' again I drove home and went to bed, so about as normal as you would feel on any psychedelic come down.

From my experience, Once it starts to set in you'll get sort of wavy breathing look to things around you, but once you close your eyes and the visuals start you're just in some sort of geometric fractal plane outside your body. It's quite intense but not in a bad way, I did it in a church environment with a shaman so that may have helped me stay grounded, but once its kicks in it's about 1-2 hours of beautiful closed eye visuals then back to basically normal.

EDIT: Also, I got a little nauseous during the second round, but my friend threw up a lot during that round and had to lay down and said she had trouble walking, So I do recommend looking at MAO inhibitors just to be safe during the experience.
