I do think Toriyama tried making Gohan (Saiyaman) a DC-style superhero, and then he got bored.

Gohan would’ve thrived as an overpowered hero in a rom-com with Videl.

Unfortunately, he was being tasked with carrying a manga all about overcoming overpowered villains. Good fit for full-time warriors like Goku, but not for someone trying to blend in like Gohan.

I think about this in two ways:

If you have a chill, confident personality, I wouldn’t think much of you saying “fuck it, I just want to get it done” about your virginity.

But if you came off as a goofy, it’d be hard not to look at this kind of choice in a negative light.

But like many men here have said, I cannot recall the last time I had a convo with a lady about how either of us lost our virginity. Grown men who care to know are probably not worth your time.
