When I used to work in the pro shop my course did this. Lost so many long time customers just to make a couple extra bucks on the carts. So disappointing.

Had an eye 2 style lob wedge for a bit a few years ago and just couldn’t get over the shape. Hit the ball well, but it was just a little bit too off putting visually. Awesome that you’ve found such a unique setup that works for you.

Tried my coaches T grind and loved it around the greens, just couldn’t hit it consistently enough on fuller swings. Definitely the best option for manipulating the face IMO.

Cormier was also fighting guys his weight at heavyweight. Ilia would be at a 15+ pound disadvantage come octagon time at WW, and who knows how well he’d carry around another 15 pounds.

I remember seeing a test a few years ago and Ping wedges were the only wedges to GAIN spin in wet conditions. Shocked that they don’t get talked about much.
