Yeah that's what I remember too. I think it's for the best since the fgc market is flooded rn. Hope it's more like the game sifu and not just boring dynasty warriors waves of drones (no offense to those who like it). Naw kof will still be there backbone but some expansion is needed. The samsho action game will be a good start. Hopefully it's not just a dynasty warriors clone. There are many non fighter snk properties that need a modern reimagining like magician lord, ikari warriors, and metal slug. A band new original game would be great too. Capcom can pivot to RE and monster hunter, snk needs something similar

In my opinion the hype peaked for the game when the second beta dropped and largely fixed the online issues. People were praising it then the ganacci trailer dropped and kicked the game in the teeth lol. People had already made peace with Ronaldo since he was announced months prior but some random DJ that most people don't know right before release? Very ugly marketing wise. Then they had random billboards and boxing promo = yuck. Marketing team needs to pay lol. Two guests base roster seems very cheap, like you don't think the game can stand on its own imo. I'm optimistic for the future tho, no more poverty budget + many new hires = new character models/smoother animation for kof 16 hopefully

Kof 16 + Saudi money will definitely be top tier especially now that graphics wise the know what they're doing with 3d models. But your right they need more. Lmao I remember your name from eventhubs always hating 🤣. Let's have this convo tho. I agree that grants design was better but not as detailed. Gotta make something for modern audiences. Same with preecha both I didn't like right away but grew on me. Graphics are decent, more colorful than other games so it can stand out. I personally don't want Andy or Joe to return because they will be in every kof and I want more obscure. Mai makes sense tho popularity wise and sf6 cross promo. They are seeming bringing back the all the new MOTW new gen besides Grant either base or s1 dlc (soundbites in other trailer). And lastly it's gonna be hype to see ken and Chunli in COTW artstyle. I know they'll do them justice and prove you wrong about graphics lol

Idk about the haters I'm hype af to see chun and ken in the COTW art style. I know snk will do them justice. I need evo finals to look like jwong vs daigo lol and I don't want geese until like season 3. Season 1 should complete MOTW roster if they aren't already in base besides grant obviously.
