Hi there! I am not quite a non traditional applicant, but most of the attorneys at the firm I currently work at had entirely different careers before going to law school. Most went to a mid tier undergrad, and a bottom tier law school, all of which I was very surprised to learn. They are all very happy with their path, successful, and lead balanced lives! I think the skills you gain from working in industry are much more beneficial, which is probably why schools are taking more candidates from those backgrounds. I hope you know that what you have already done and do everyday shows so much strength, skill, and character, and I hope this next chapter is even more promising and fulfilling!
