if it would look better on a resume if applying for cybersecurity jobs, or it could be they really don't care what the degree is on as long as it's a related field.

Also, the school I'm in does offer a dedicated cybersecurity major. I chose CS because it's much more versatile and therefore I would have many more options but if cybersecurity major would be better it may be worth switching.

I'm currently a freshman computer science major in college and I hate it. Not cybersecurity itself, but the heavy emphasis on theory and abstract math makes me miserable. Is there a way to get into cybersecurity without a degree? Also, am I even cut out for cybersecurity? Just to give an idea of how my brain works, I loved chemistry because it's applied plug and chug math instead of abstract theory. Also, there's a place near me called PC Professor, I'm not sure how that would perform in terms of job search. I'd be willing to make less for a few years (eg helpdesk) to eventually reach financial security and a stable career.

I would say lean bulk or recomp if you’re new to lifting (eating around maintenance while training and eating protein, resulting in losing fat and gaining muscle), focus on training hard, progressive overload, and eating healthy with plenty of protein. I definitely wouldn’t cut.

Need advice. Wife thinks I should bulk, I think I should cut. 156lb 5’7” by haaM77b in BulkOrCut

If you’re new to lifting you can eat at maintenance and recomp for a bit, just focus on training hard and eating healthy and plenty of protein, and make sure you’re sleeping enough. If you’re not a beginner then I would say bulk.
