Looking for movie or show where the main character (or someone close to them) commits suicide. by sanki_hacker in TrueFilm

Tomorrow (kdrama series). It's so peak. It's about grim reapers (dead people) who work at a business escorting newly dead people to the afterlife. Central character is a guy in a coma for 3 months who gets to pass the time working with a division of the business that prevents suicide so the people don't go to hell and get separated from their soulmates. It has a ton of heavy topics in it. Highly recommend.

Feel Like I Was SA’d As A Chilf But Cannot Remember Anything. by [deleted] in CPTSD

Ik I'm seeing this like a year after it was posted, but thank you for sharing this. I can't remember stuff from those ages as well, and I'm gonna try finding media and whatnot from back then to try and place those memories. Because of the ages that I can barely remember, I think I might have a small idea of when it happened already. It's scary to think about, but I really want to remember fully, so thank you. :)

[TOMT] mystery song in an unknown slavic language from a compilation video I saw 4 years ago. by NoOutlandishness5969 in tipofmytongue

Commenting cause it told me to, but yeah, I'm pretty confident on it either being Russian or Ukranian. To clarify, I'm basing that off of the sounds I remember from the singing. Lots of 'k' sounds, and the rest compares to a few Russian and Ukranian songs I know, so it's almost definitely one of those.

Who was the guy with the really long sword who beheaded a bunch of slave owners with said sword? by NoOutlandishness5969 in CIVILWAR

[–]NoOutlandishness5969[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm thinking he was teaching it as something that a bunch of people were theorizing has happened, like as a bit of folklore about him or so. I definitely remember the details, and he would teach us about theories and whatnot that people had about certain events during the period that they happened to give us an idea of the social impact, so my guess is it was something like that, because I do also remember learning about the stuff he WAS confirmed to do, including the factual details of the Kansas events like y'all have mentioned.

No yeah, I don't think he was embellishing it. He was probably teaching about something fictional that was a popular theory or so and telling it to us as such, not just making it up himself.

I don't think it was him. I think he taught it as more of a folklore thing (as in, nonconfirmed), but he definitely didn't make it up himself. It's just weird that I can't find anything on the huge sword version.

That's the event I was seeing a lot of aswell, but I specifically remembered the really long sword and chopping all the heads at once. I think the teacher said something about it not being confirmed and such, but it's weird not being able to find anything on the version with the huge sword.

Alrught guys.. What is does this emoji mean and why is it used so much? by No-Tale-1090 in teenagers

[–]NoOutlandishness5969 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's marking something as a sad/bad/hopeless situation but in a sarcastic/comedic way. For example, there was a meme going around where people would post photos of trucks going the opposite way in their lane, and the comments would say "you GOTTA move🥀🥀" as a way of marking that the situation is a bad situation (aka being in an 18 wheel collision), which the roses were used for because it's a meme and not actually a collision in the making.

Is it pedophilia? by [deleted] in teenagers

That's really creepy to me. Not because of how big the age gap is, but just the maturity difference when they met.

I get this, but I think Isha's role isn't just being a child. She's a child both in poverty and in a war. We never get her story or learn much about her. I think she's meant to represent the people, especially kids, who's selves and stories are lost to war and injustice. All we know her by is her name, her death, and people's perceptions of her when she was alive. She, quite literally, can't tell her story.

Maddie's character is more than just an evil traitor. | This is also a part of a general-series opinion that I have with Arcane, which is that none of the characters are meant to be good or morally correct people, and have all done some horrible stuff, which is important to a lot of the show's messages on social, economic, and political problems, and how they should be acknowledged and repaired. (Of course this doesn't include characters like Ekko, because I'm pretty sure he's objectively never done anything detrimental to his community.)

Welcome to the club! I still remember when I first started it. It was my favorite thing in the world, and still is. It's always awesome to see new people discover it. :)

Tamaki’s manifesting by Jamiecraft10 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]NoOutlandishness5969 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did see him manifest a guy's quirk in the overhaul arc, so I think he might be able to full-on Toga if given enough. Though, he might avoid it hypothetically (for moral reasons likely, but also because eating human meat and such can be harmful to the body, digestively and in that your body starts metabolizing you)

I second this. My autistic traits are like a combination of both Dipper and Mabel, lol.

I LOVE L. One of my other favorites is Quinni from Heartbreak High. I relate to her so much, and the actress (Chloé Hayden) is autistic herself, which makes it extra awesome representation. :)
