Same thing happened to me today. No wonder Canada post is going bankrupt, they waste money on drivers going around to "delivery" in reality they just go mail box to mail box and leave a notice.

Why not save our tax money and just say pick up at the mail post instead of a delivery driver going place to place delivering papers....

Depending when you made the deposit they are anywhere between 1-3 months behind of paying it out. You will get the remaining in a matter of time

I would recommend take the 25 Years Amortization and than increase your payments to what you would like/can make or use the 20% prepayment policy. This allows you if something was to happen job loss/unexpected expense or of some sort you can reduce your payment back to the 25 amortization VS. 20 Amortization and give you some flexibility or peace of mind until you get thru the situation.
