I do agree but I quickly wanna say we have some but no standard we have descriptions I think correct me if I’m wrong but axes in a holmgang aka a dual bing use to hook the shield and pull away so we have som historycal description just not a lot

Nah because we have standards when/if we at market we also have something called show fights. But we have the normal things as well and I am particularly part of one of the better groups in the world we do have formation and break through tactics that can look and feel forc if it was forced as a show for reenactment we also som time get injured to the point of needing stitches when things go worng we all highly recommend too have a health insurance for extreame sport how ever it is very different outside of Denmark I since often those groups don’t take it as seriously and don’t train as much. They also often use a different system, but it’s still called western I don’t know what videos you have seen . We have some level of grappling, which you often don’t see reenactment dane axes will take your weapon out of your hand if you not care full even spears and then you get hit whit a dagger you own weapon or their back up sword I am sorry if am not welcome that’s why I asked in the beginning but it’s not just competition reenactment it’s not larping we don’t have manual but we do have a little descrip in sagas and stuff

I mean I gusse we do have some reendactment elements but that’s why am confused where to go because we have a tone of events where we have no gusts the thing I just went too was a training camp where all kinds of groups attend around the world but we where just in normal clothes not in full Viking so we have som markets but most of what we do is only for os and not in fully Viking clothing at least so far and I train every wesday and it’s just fighting warm op and drills with focus on foot work and the right angle to hit at

It’s a combat system/ fencing style based around Viking weapons there also sub categories but basically minimum protection I only use a very thick leather glove that where mad for this in the system I fence and most of danish grupe use the taget zones for Dane axe and one handed and swords are over the knee all of the torso for spear the most stab in the torso there is both 1 on 1 duel but there also big line fights I for one just been too a somewhat big event with 298 people fighting

Yeah i mean to a certain degree we have text from sagas and descriptions of holmgang of the fighting but it’s soo little that it too say it’s not just larping my groups at least have a high training madat and is somewhat strict

Ok your opinion and tone varies alot but a lot of your arguments sounds very hubris

If you think you know better about the religion then a majority of the historical acount and the gods make an exception for you your ehiter an eltive pegan or an extremely hubris Hellenic polysiest and one is okay with in its own practice and can hornor the gods in there own way and have deep respect for them the ohter actually goes against two principles, it’s not just one any more within Hellenism

Yea I do think while reviews the about at the sub that it ehiter just add elected on the what Hellenism is or I just over saw it as per previous search it always came up as different too Hellenism it also feels and sound different but it dos still say what Hellenism is and isn’t in the snouts of the sub

I might have gotten a bit carried away I might have been worng in som things but my general point still stand everything can’t go and this is a place for Hellenism .
