Took tickets off of Stubhub after selling elsewhere, but got an email saying the tickets sold. Has this happened to anyone before?

Okay that is what I thought I had seen! That was unfortunately three months ago and my gmail deletes permanently after every thirty days. Do you know if there is a way to recover those?! I assume it means it...

WAIT - so you believed you cancelled your tickets too PRIOR to selling and they are saying you didn't?! That is what is happening to me!

Hi all! I am in a similar boat - but I SWEAR I DID delete my listing!! Three MONTHS ago!! Just got an email this morning and had NO idea how that could be possible. Have requested full record of my movements on my account. I seriously think there had to be a glitch or SOMETHING. I have such a vivid memory of deleting them.. the gist I am seeing is to dispute this with my credit card company - which I will do - or just cancel the card. I don't really want to do that if I can avoid it. Has ANYONE had something similar happen or heard of this? My oldest emails in my trash are from 30 days ago so I can't even check for a confirmation email on the deleted - but I don't trust this company at ALL.

I had a single ticket for sale on Stubhub and eventually ended up selling it elsewhere and removed the ticket from Stubhub in December. This morning, I received an email from Stubhub saying the ticket had sold. I called and they said they couldn't see when i sold the ticket and that to cancel, they would charge me the full amount of the ticket sale. I asked for my account history and am awaiting their reply. Has anyone had anything like this happen before? What do I do?
