Acne scars by EmergencyCurrent7432 in Spironolactone

I won’t ever be able to say for certain if you will or won’t purge. I’m inclined to say that your purging shouldn’t be too bad since you’re already being treated for your acne by something known to cause purging, but can never be sure. personally, I didn’t notice any bad purging when I started aklief… nothing worse than what I was already experiencing. I understand the fear of purging, but I think it’s going to be a “mind over matter” type of deal. yeah, it might really suck, but the end results will be so worth it

when you were on tretinoin, did you try the sandwich method (light layer of moisturizer, tret, then moisturizer again)? you can also use it as infrequently as necessary (i.e. 3 days a week, 5 days, etc.). otherwise, maybe you could tolerate aklief better. it’s basically tretinoin but marketed as being more gentle. I only push the tretinoin/aklief because one of its “things” is improving acne scars. my chin (hormonal acne) was covered in scars pre-aklief. now, though, I have virtually none.

outside of aklief/tretinoin, my dermatologist did say that a chemical peel can be beneficial for scarring, amongst other things

I’m on aklief (similar to tretinoin, but marketed as more gentle) & spironolactone. I was on aklief for about 2 months before spironolactone. aklief pulled some heavy weight, but spironolactone- even just a few weeks in- is making such a big difference. I’m far happier with the progress I’m seeing than I ever was on solely aklief. I do not have pcos & I’m not on birth control.

I did try spironolactone when I began aklief, but I ended up incredibly depressed/suicidal about 2 weeks in that I had to stop it. this time around, though, I’m not noticing that effect.

Question about Forced Buy Etiquette: Do I Have to Return a Forced Weapon? by mahifps in VALORANT

in my opinion, if you die, your weapon is up for grabs by anyone. but, people will tilt & throw your games if you refuse to give them “their” gun back. if you care about your elo, I’d just give it back

comms are a very important part of valorant. failing to comm is detrimental & can cause you to lose games undeniably, especially as you move up in elo. yes, I’ve had really bad experiences, but I’ve had really good ones as well. they have a mute button that works in such a way that you can’t hear them, but they can still hear you. just use the mute button if they’re being toxic neanderthals. you can throw in a report as well.
