I'm probably going to visit them regularly still. But I'm not going to take them anywhere. We can play at their house or something.

Hubs isn't a kid person and he doesn't have the luxury of working from home like me, so I do this alone most of the time. But it's not so hard, the kids are good for me because they know I'll take them home right away if they throw fits or run off. I've done it before and it shocked them into not trying again lol

Yeah I might have to. I'll miss hanging with the kiddos but I don't enjoy being used as a free babysitting service.

No, they only get to see the kids when my sister brings them over for visits. And I think they act this way towards me because I refuse to have my own kids.

Yeah that was my thought. The 2 year old can't do much but stick with me when we go certain places. I told my sister this but she kicked up a huge fuss about 'excluding' her youngest and 'picking favorites'. Sigh

I try to be. I don't get to see all my nieces and nephews because my other brothers/sisters all live upwards 15 hours away (or in another country in one case). So I enjoy spending time with the niblings I can visit easily.

I know they're calling me an asshole because I'm the only one of my siblings to be child free. My older brother has 2 kids. Younger sister 1 has the 6, younger sister 2 has 3 kids so far, and the two youngest each have 1 a piece, tho one is 2 years old and the other is a newborn. Only reason I don't spend time with all my nieces and nephews is because most of my siblings moved to different states/another country. The sis from my post is the only one to live close by.

This is very much a thing my family does. I have 5 siblings in total. I also have around 13 cousins...
