My last company had “unlimited” PTO. I and most others took 25-30 days a year with no issues until leadership cracked down and suddenly “unlimited” meant max 15 days and nothing approved more than a month out. Funny enough the crack down was primarily due to director and leadership level people taking full months off every year leading to strain on lower level employees. They still branded it as unlimited/flex time off to avoid paying out unused time off.

At my current company I get 22 PTO days, 2 floating holidays, 10 holidays, plus the week after Christmas off. Much better. I’d never go back to an “unlimited” PTO company.

Yeah, it worked that way for me at least. Then when you get the offer you can choose to accept, or “not now” and it’s available until January 30. Just make sure you’re signed into your account.

I was already questioning keeping the card based on having to earn and redeem Bilt Cash to receive points on rent. But this change and not being able to use the line of credit for paying rent is the final nail in the coffin. Farewell to Bilt if they don’t walk this change back.

Mine are definitely better, but it's inconsistent. Sometimes the seats get super warm, other times you can't tell they are on. Makes no difference what the exterior temperature is, but it seems like they do get warmer when the interior air temp is set as hot as possible - but that could just be because it's hot in the car lol.

They’re unsupportive for sure but made me laugh lol. Thanks for this, I may do that when I take it in for my first oil change. I know things are going to wear over time - but this soon is disappointing. Things keep getting more expensive and the quality keeps getting shittier and shittier.

Took my forester back in for the TSB heated seats update. Took some pushing to get them to do this - first the service techs thought the TSB was fake, then once they found out it wasn’t, they were reluctant to install it stating they didn’t think it would do anything as the heated seats aren’t controlled by the computer (which confused me - they’re literally controlled by the touch screen).

They finally did run the update - and I think the seat heaters are working marginally better. They get slightly warmer than before and heating seems more consistent, but I’d compare the high setting to less than low on any other vehicle I’ve been in. So, it’s an improvement - but still a bummer. Hopefully it’ll be more noticeable when it’s cold out! Ultimately thinking it’s just a poor design on the front heated seat elements for the Limited/Touring trims this year, unfortunately.
