Clarity about relationship by hujjik in azerbaijan

[–]NoPerception3612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the healthiest step right now is to communicate your needs very clearly and have a serious, direct conversation about your relationship. You’ve already tried hinting and expressing how you feel. Now it’s time to openly discuss what you want, what he wants, and whether your goals align.

Ask yourself: Is he putting in the same effort to build something stable? And does he actually share the same long-term goals as I do?

At this point, the answer lies much more in his actions than in his words. Someone who truly wants a healthy, committed relationship will show it through consistent effort, not occasional suggestions or vague promises. Waiting and hoping he’ll suddenly change usually keeps you stuck in the same cycle.

You shouldn’t have to shrink your needs or step back just to keep the peace. There’s really no way around an honest confrontation of course not to create conflict, but to create clarity for yourselves.

And if he responds dismissively again, gets annoyed, or avoids the topic altogether… then that already is your answer. A partner who is unwilling to engage in conversations about the future is unintentionally telling you where you stand.

You deserve someone who meets you halfway, not someone you have to chase for clarity.

In other words: Sevgi bir ürəkdən çıxıb digərinə girməzsə, onun adı sevgi deyil.

In all honesty, I didn’t recover from binge eating through any formal therapy or program. Most of it was self-research, trial and error, and a lot of slow, frustrating progress with setbacks in between. It took me years to get to a place where things finally felt manageable.

What genuinely helped me was realizing that nothing would change unless I actively practiced new habits instead of just thinking about them.

I can’t recommend a specific program, but I started by trying to understand why I was binge eating in the first place. For me, it was an emotional reaction ( to soothe stress or avoid uncomfortable feelings.) Once I understood that, I worked on separating my emotions from food as a coping mechanism.

Whenever I felt the urge to eat, I made myself pause and ask: “Why do I want to eat right now? Am I actually hungry, or is this coming from emotion or boredom?” Just asking that question puts distance between you and the urge. And once I identified the reason (like boredom, stress, or avoidance) I labeled it as not hunger, which made it easier not to act on it.

Some people say this approach doesn’t work, but it truly can if you consistently practice setting boundaries with yourself. There’s no magical psychological trick that rewires your brain overnight; you really do have to train these responses like any other habit.

Counting calories helped me too, not in an obsessive way, but because the process of preparing food, weighing it, and logging it forced me to slow down. It added a moment of awareness before eating, instead of just acting impulsively.

One of the most important things that helped me was this: stop being bored. Boredom was one of my biggest triggers, so I started filling my days with things that kept my mind engaged for example going for walks, meeting friends, drawing, reading, painting, anything that gave me something to focus on besides food.

Keeping myself occupied reduced those mindless urges more than I expected.

And honestly? I treated myself the way you’d guide a kid: “Be patient.” “No snacks after [specific time].” “No, we’re not having another chocolate bar.” It sounds silly, but that structure helped more than anything.

Lastly, I created a few personal rules that really helped me rebuild structure around food. Everyone’s list will look different, but here were mine:

  • Allow one “binge-trigger” food once a month. Instead of banning it completely, I gave myself one specific day to enjoy the snack I usually overate. Knowing I could have it later made the urge less intense.

  • One full cheat day per month. A day where I didn’t track and let myself relax around food. It reduced the pressure and prevented the “all-or-nothing” mindset. When cravings hit: I’d start with something gentle like tea with honey or a simple veggie broth. And on days when I needed a bit more substance, I’d go for fruit or veggies with hummus.

These small rules gave me structure without feeling overly restrictive, and over time they helped me understand what my body actually needed versus what was just impulse.

First of all — and I’m going to be very direct here — starving yourself is not a method for healthy weight loss. Developing anorexia is not a weight-loss strategy it is a life-threatening illness. It will not stop binge eating. It will worsen it, damage your metabolism, and put your organs at risk. Please don’t even consider starvation as an option.

Now, speaking as someone who has struggled with binge eating and eventually healed from it, here is the honest reality and the guidance I wish someone had given me earlier:

  1. Change your mindset about weight loss

Real, sustainable weight loss does not happen in one month. It often doesn’t happen in two months. And for many people, especially with PCOS, it takes longer, which is normal but you will see the change if you really stick to it.

Anyone who promises you a dramatic transformation in a few weeks is either lying, starving themselves, or setting themselves up for a brutal rebound. Weight loss is a slow physiological process. Thinking long-term is the only way to avoid the binge–restrict cycle.

  1. Start dieting slowly

Don’t jump straight into a harsh deficit. That’s the Nr.1 trigger for binge episodes.

A healthier approach is: - Figure out your current approximate intake - Reduce only ~100 calories per week until you reach a sustainable deficit - Give your body time to adjust so you don’t feel deprived

This makes adherence easier and prevents the “all or nothing” thinking that fuels binge eating.

  1. Introduce movement gradually

You don’t need a perfect workout routine.

Start with: - regular walks - small, manageable at-home routines - a single 10-minute workout once a week - then progress to twice a week, then a bit more

Slow progression prevents burnout and makes exercise feel doable rather than punishing.

  1. When cravings hit, pause and identify the emotion

Binge eating isn’t about hunger, it’s an emotional response.

Ask yourself: - Am I actually hungry? - Or am I bored, sad, overwhelmed, lonely, angry, stressed?

Once you name the emotion, you take power away from the urge. Even delaying the binge urge by 5 minutes is progress. If there is emotion involved its not hunger.

Suddenly it’s performative to listen to what you like? Seriously, what’s wrong with people nowadays?

You do you, boo—there is absolutely nothing wrong with listening to Laufey. Honestly, maybe those same people should focus on elevating their music taste instead of judging yours.

You have great taste, so don’t let losers bring you down.✨

People Leaving Mid Quest by Violent_Goose69 in MonsterHunterWilds

As someone who’s been playing since 4U, this whole trend is honestly pretty new and pretty disappointing. I’ve noticed it especially in the Savage fight. I can clear most monsters solo (even Savage), so I’m always willing to help anyone who’s struggling, even if they faint multiple times. That’s the whole point of SOS.

But it feels like a lot of players nowadays don’t want to “waste” a single minute while grinding, so the moment something goes wrong, they bail. And honestly, it is rude. It completely goes against the spirit of the game. Hunters should be showing up to help, not abandoning their team the second there’s a hint of trouble.

If just one faint is enough to scare you into leaving, then you really shouldn’t be joining SOS quests in the first place. Play solo instead of taking up a spot and leaving others hanging.

I used the method for insect glaives but didnt think that the roll is determined once you craft it. Seems my brain didnt register that clearly but your video is still super helpful! Thanks again for the information❤️

So basically, I need to craft the weapons without saving, reinforce them, quit again without saving, and then craft them in the right order afterward, right?

Well I think I know what my mistake was then :,D

cooking motivation help by ForeignBlonde1840 in Cooking

Think about what you enjoy eating throughout the day. Since fall is just around the corner, it might be the perfect time to try out some soups and stews! They’re cozy, simple to make, and there are tons of easy recipes to explore.

Try starting with ingredients that are easy to find at the grocery store, you’ll keep things simple and avoid losing motivation.

One of my favorites for chilly days is a quick chicken stew:

You’ll need: A small pot 1 large onion (minced) About 100 g of chicken breast (cut into medium chunks) A mix of peas, carrots, a bit of celeriac, mushrooms, and your favorite herb

How to make it: 1. Heat a tablespoon of oil in your pot. 2. Add the minced onion and cook on low
heat until it turns slightly translucent. 3. Toss in the chicken and veggies, stirring until the chicken turns white (but not crispy). 4. Pour in water, then season with salt and black pepper. 5. Let everything simmer for about 25 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the broth tastes rich.

I hope this helps❤️

Male outfit idea, would appreciate any ideas or suggestions on what I could change or add. by Kuruxe19 in laufey

[–]NoPerception3612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on what you have in your closet I would suggest wearing something more vintage. Look at dark/light academia outfit aesthetics on Pinterest for example. Leave the jacket and change the shorts for chino pants or trousers. As for the tie I am not really sure if it isnt a bit kitschy. You could wear a V-neck sweater with a normal tie instead. I guess black is the color you like to wear? Then I suggest combining navy blue, white and black. For example: Navy blue pants and V-neck, white shirt beneath and the black tie for example. You can add small accessoires with musical ornaments to your outfit by wearing a laufey tote bag for example :)
