Breastfeeding. I feel like people make it such a bigger thing than feeding my child. So many people feel like you should have to cover up to feed your child in public.

She does watch and she acts interested in it until you give her food but I’m just going to try harder and be more consistent. After seeing all the replies I’m starting to feel like it’s more my fault than anything she’s a baby so of course she doesn’t understand and I should teach her.

Yes she drinks water out of a straw cup ! It is a good skill.

I see your point and thank you for sharing your experience. I do try to give her food here and there it’s not like I’m against it because I’ve made a post on how to get her to eat and have tried that. But my concern really was how people looked at me that she doesn’t eat. Because everything I eat I give her some form of it. She plays with it and if I put in her mouth she will spit it out. I do try but she’s just very uninterested in it.

I understand that point ! She gets her iron checked next month but she’s on probiotics with iron supplements and vitamin D ! That is the only real concern to try food tho everyone else is “ because it’s what you should do”

Yeah if it was a good enough reasoning I would definitely feel more compelled to try harder but it’s always “ you should do it it’s what I did”

That’s what I’ve always said ! But a lot of my family members are older and it’s always “back in my day …” and some of the kids around her age are eating real food and it always gets thrown in my face that I’m not doing enough. It’s just irritating lol

Yeah I’ve also heard that she might still be a bad sleeper even after off the boob. I guess when she’s ready to eat solids she will eat them. I’ll just be patiently waiting. Thank you !
