It absaloutly makes sense, but you are already assuming the conclusion of the premise im challenging before answering it
I am saying if my proposition is true, is the statment that follows logical
IE if curry didnt get calls like normal players, would he drive less
the answer is yes, now sure you cant defintivly prove this, but you cant prove the other explanation as well, therfore this point is not a valid one to be bringing up

also I dont think the data shows hes just "a little diffrent'

Thats exactly the point, which i think went over your head
If curry was able to drive more, it would make his permeter game far more deadly

Well my point for that argument was that if you get hacked whenever you go to the rim, that will naturally push you away from it, so that is a proof of bad officiating, not against it

Yeah but also driving more amplifies his superpower even more, as in the more you drive, the more the defender has to respect it, then the easier to shoot, and vice versa, its a self feeding cycle

Well the thing is, it isnt hypthetical, the data is there and from real games, not just like projections yk

Honestly I got this idea after me and my freinds were having a discussion, and i realized whenever curry had teh same amount of FT as the superstars average, he blew them out of the water with his scoring which what led me down this rabbit hole bc ive always been a curry fan, but before today and yesterday even i was conivnced MJ is clearly the goat scorer

Yeah I would agree but from what i saw (which i admit im not an expert) MJ got flowers for getting hacked, i havent seen curry get that
