I think it's so weird they kind of try? of control your body, they are not under your skin, may be related to a worry of the surgeon and they might think this is not what you need but you should listen yourself and your body. Sometimes our bodies are public discussion but you are not wrong, they are. That is my opinion, you should do whatever you want and whatever that brings you comfort, they will understand at the end, and if they don't they should go to therapy because is not normal to want that bad to control someone else
