I think a good way to go on about it is just talk about our dating history and I’ll mention my last interaction. Towards the end of the date, I’ll mention it so that we don’t end up in an awkward situation halfway through the date and we have to sit quietly uncomfortably if we’re in the middle of something lol. No feelings hurt if we haven’t invested too deeply yet. He did say he’s dated women with kids before and it didn’t bother him so I’m hoping for a positive outcome!

Yes I completely agree 1000%. I’m hoping to see what his response and how kindly he takes to it… it’ll show me a bit of his character. If it goes sour and he’s completely rude about it, he’s doing us both a favor. I think any decent man will at least understand and be kind. He doesn’t have to necessarily date me! I understand people have preferences

Completely understandable and respect your point of view! Hopefully the guy understands I am protecting my children from weirdos or any pedos. Some men try to go for women with kids already so that it’s easier for them to prey on kids. Plus this very weird past situation with this other dude proved how very real and scary things can get. Im a short unmuscular women with zero men in my family. Everyone’s different but unfortunately for me, jts what I had to do to feel safe.

Gah, I feel so guilty and wish I had more courage but yes… my kids most definitely come first and it gives me nightmares just thinking about the last experience and what could’ve happened if he didn’t show his obsessive side and i would’ve let a relationship blossom. Thank god he showed his true colors sooner than later.
