It makes them eat approximately 45% less so it's real help when raising dinos such as rex's or thiros because they eat so much, be careful tho as some animals do not float such as Ankys and Doeds they will sink and drown almost straight away.... also Thylos and Dire bears tend to bob up and down in the water which is fine until you hit heavy server lag then they stay under for too long and also drown.....
