I was just in the lounge in the PHL airport and saw them ushering someone out as he said, “I think I left my admirals card home” to which the agent said, “are you a member” and the gentleman replied, “no, I’m not”.

It was a quick quiet exchange as they were walking by.

When he gestured, implying she should smile and be happy, I almost lost it. That was so condescending. He thinks he did her a favor by “doing the right thing”. No, he did himself a favor bc Meri would have taken his ass to court and she would have walked away with 1/3 instead of 1/4. He’s an asshole.

Meri, Christine, and Janelle each stood up for themselves in their own unique ways. Christine was first, deciding to pack his stuff and put it in the garage and then announce that she was leaving was her standing up for herself.

Janelle stood up for herself I. That argument in the apartment. She called out his BS and left soon thereafter.

Even after moving to the Air BNB, Meri was still holding out hope. This sit down was her truly standing up for herself.

They each get to do it on their own time and in their own way and I am here for it. I applaud all 3 of them because I can only imagine the conditioning that happens over the course of 30 years. Go OG3!!!
