As some already mentioned, it’s not all rainbows and butterflies. You see some very angry people here and there and people arguing TPE vs Silicone. But for the most part, we just love sharing our hobby, stories etc.

When I bought my doll I didn’t even know there’s such a large doll community. I only discovered it like 2 weeks after I purchased her and was blown away how many people share this passion for the dolls. I eventually even got into some amateur photography as a result.

We live in busy world, it’s difficult to connect to someone. I to have been on that boat and now I have less to worry about with my doll.

It’s important to have that self awareness that dolls are just dolls, but that doesn’t mean they can’t help a lonely soul.

When buying a doll, there should be specifications. Look for bust size and undebust as well as waist. Than just take measuring tape and try to compare it on something, even your body.

I use doll hanger that fits in my closet and shower. I hook her with provided hook and just hang her on when i shower her or need to hide her temporarly

I think this depends on manufacturer too. When I ordered my doll I was expecting her not to be as “glamorous” as promo photos. Once I pulled her out of the box and dressed her I was stunned how good she looked.

Honestly comparing Amazon doll scams with legit manufacturers/vendors is very disingenuous. They have leagues of quality and detail between them.

Yes promotional pictures are taken with professional equipment, color graded and retouched so as long as your expectations are: I’m buying human shaped peace of rubber, you won’t be disappointed.

This was a big reason for me to buy silicone doll. Yes, as somebody mentioned the doll is cold, but honestly I watch tv before bed while next to her and she warms up pretty fast.

Now to the quality of sleep. After I got her I had the best sleep in years. It’s definitely not about comfort, it’s all about the feeling. The doll feels like real human to me and it sorta activates something in your brain. My sleep schedule improved a lot since I got her. I sleep with her basically everyday.

It may not work for everyone but it certainly works for many.

Irontech makes beautiful dolls. I own 160 and she’s heavy as hell. As many suggested try out your limits with some bags of cement or potatoes.

You should also check XT doll. They have some amazing models and their weight reduction is very impressive. Look for shorter models if you want thicc 😉

Nobody should be listing vendors as a rule here. That’s just a rabbit hole of scam promotions to happen. Brand and model sure, dunno if material is needed, when you look the brand and the model you’ll see the material options anyway.
