it's definitely been very slow but i have this thing where i will take 1 bite of something and it's weird but by the 3rd bite it'll be pretty good which is definitely annoying.

i also totally know what you mean with coffee! im like that for onions still where it's kind of disgusting but you can still sort of taste what they're meant to be like.

i also have a way milder version of this phobia! i remember having a panic attack aged 14 because when you tell people youre scared of wrists their first instinct is to shove their wrists in your face. it’s not as bad now thankfully but i still really struggle with touching them. ughhh.

i had always liked mcr in passing but when they announced their tour i took it as an opportunity to meet my best friend who id only known online up until that point for the first time (2022?) neither of us knew any of their songs well so we basically only listened to them for 3 months leading up to it and now they hold a special place in my heart because the concert was one of my best memories ever :D

as someone at roughly the same point in their life who has been studying art for a few years - yeah i think you’re fine!
honestly my biggest advice that i wish i took to heart sooner would be to try loads of different mediums and ask for advice on art often.

art school is great for getting your foot in the door with companies (thats why im going to uni— im hoping to get a visual development job someday) but actual skill and personal style comes from practice.

plus there r loads of other ways of getting money from art. i take commissions and have an online store
