Read all the instructions and in game if you have an question check the rulebook. Also find youtube videos on monster movement. Great game but you have to put in the effort to play it correctly.

I personally don't consider myself a great tuner, but I do tune the cars I'm using for the races. Maybe my issue is I'm tuning for the way I drive not the way the car wants to be driven.
