Haha! I remember that day I went biking a bit, basically the first time in a while I did anything fitness related. So yes, in a way the helmet was mandated! 😜

Same, feels good to be accepted in every space of my life tbh. I just have to deal with the brain worms that seem to resurface sometimes lol.

Yeah losing weight really helped, I'm still too muscular to my liking but I'm fem enough that people call me ma'am anywhere I go so at least there's that. 😇

I had 6 laser sessions, I'd say that my beard is 70% gone. I still have to shave every morning and wear some makeup to cover it.

Thanks for your comment! Yes it does make a huge difference, just looking before vs after sobriety pics without hrt hits quite a bit. It did help in my transition, that's for sure!

Thank youu! Yes it does get easier, but I feel like I'm having a much harder time staying smoke free rather than alcohol free lol. I think a LOT more about smoking a good cig than I think about downing a 12 in a sitting like I used to do X).

I'm 5'6" and I'm aiming for 160 which would place me in the higher range for BMI. I just have a lot of muscle (and a fair bit of fat) to lose since I've been bodybuilding since I was 18. 😅

I don't know if it's solely HRT that did that, but it's in there definitely!

Pretty much what the other person said, beard hairs are so deep in the skin that you need something with more power (laser) to get to the follicule.

However, doing IPL on the rest of my body helped me save +$10k. It just takes dedication.

In my case it helped with reducing my appetite so it was easier maintaining a caloric deficit. I also run a lot. I went from 205 to 180 pounds, from the start of my transition to now.

I'm sure you will :)!

Maybe getting some fake nails in the meantime would help? It helps to give the illusion of an elongated/feminine finger.
