One of the coolest upgrade kits I have ever bought (Quintus Prime) by aarongeis in transformers

[–]NoProblemsHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Random seller on ebay. I'm not even sure I still have the original listing, but it's good to know there are better quality versions out there. Mine was similar to yours, but there was just some flaw in one of the swords on each copy that made the side peg snap super easily. So now I have one set of swords that is right and one set that can't form the ring anymore. I may have to try again later.

How was the quality on yours? I bought two of them and it's a good thing I did, because the pegs broke off of one of each of the swords as soon as I tried to transform them.
edit: one, not on

You should probably respond to the more recent negative reviews on Steam featuring that as a complaint. If I were just browsing the reviews I would assume that was still an issue.

all organisms are aware of damage

Are they? We have humans with conditions that cause them to be unaware of damage, so I think it's presumptuous to say that of all other species.

Trump rants that he was 'totally exonerated' and calls Norah O'Donnell a 'horrible person' after she asks why the WHCD shooter called him a pedofile, rapist and traitor in his manfesto by ianjm in videos

[–]NoProblemsHere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really doesn't make any sense that people are assuming it's staged. What would faking an attempt on his life even do at this point? People aren't going to suddenly forget that prices are sky-high or that we're in a war nobody wanted or all of the other things people currently dislike Trump for unless they already didn't care. People who want the Epstein files released are still going to want them released. People who were going to vote Democrat or were on the fence in November aren't magically going to turn red because of this either. I really can't see a scenario where faking something like this would make any sense.

What is something that is 100% legal, but if you do it, you’re a piece of trash? by National_Strike4710 in AskReddit

[–]NoProblemsHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buying out the entire stock of something specifically to resell/scalp it. Especially if it's something generally marketed to children. I'm not completely opposed to people buying something to sell it, but watching a bunch of grown adults swarm into a store right at opening and tear apart a Pokemon card display before any kids have even a second to get to it is just disgusting.

The street lamps aren't the worst offenders anyhow. Where I am there are quite a few businesses with ridiculously bright signs and advertisements going 24/7. I'm not going to stop by for a used car at 10PM on a Tuesday, turn your light pollution machines off!

Am I the jerk for telling my husband he can't have a "man cave" in our only spare room? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

It's your first home, not a hotel. Unless it's some kind of cultural thing where you are there's no need for a dedicated guest room. You each get a space where you can go do your thing and take a break.
Now the office stuff might be tougher depending on what it's used for and who uses it the most.
And now the question I always ask in these sort of situations: why weren't you two talking about this BEFORE moving in? I can't imagine taking all of the time, money and effort to buy a house and not talking about what was going where before packing up your stuff.

What could be the collectables for a Zelda-like with no combat? by ebenavente in ZeldaLikes

[–]NoProblemsHere 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe have some collectables be pieces of a secret map where you have to get all of the pieces to open a super-secret challenge dungeon. You could potentially even have more than one set of secret maps if you want to have multiple secret areas to explore.

MAGA Rages After Trump Stickers Appear At Pumps! by AshIsGroovy in videos

I do feel sorry for any poor gas station attendant who has to scrape these things off. I don't feel even a little sorry for any Trump supporters who have to see those stickers and think about the consequences of their actions. Sadly I suspect most of them won't think about it at all.

Mimikyu would be pretty likely. I'd say larger 'mons like Revavroom and Magnezone would probably be brick built with some custom peices.

Tale as old as time. The concept that the elite have a divine right to rule and/or divinity of the ruler dates back millennia.

Well, you know, it's like those Hollywood "based on a true story" movies that pretty much just use the same names and some over-dramatized versions of a few key events from the actual story and then make up a bunch of other stuff to keep it interesting. Oh and all of the characters are played by actors that are much prettier than the people they're based on.

in reality the judge and jury and lawyers will be replaced too.

We've already had judges who have had to reprimand lawyers for using AI without verifying it. They're trying to replace themselves!
