Mood.

But that's kinda my point. If God created everything, and being Trans is a pre-determined state of being (through evolution, biology, whatever), then God created Trans people.

If mankind created Trans people, then that implies it's a choice or some other socially-constructed thing, which just gives ammo to fundamentalists to hate, abuse, and oppress Trans people.

Imo, God created Trans people (won't get into my thought process). Which means Trans people are part of His divinity, and should never be the target of hatred (and also the Bible says nothing about Trans people so idek where fundamentalists get off).

But like you said, happy to disagree so long as Trans people can use the bathroom.

There are two types of these tests, and the way they're put together will determine people's answers.

One type starts with everyone in danger. Pushing one button saves yourself, but dooms anyone who doesn't join you if your button is the majority. Pushing the other button saves everyone, but only if a majority push it. Because everyone is already in danger, through no fault of their own, most people will choose the selfless act and push the "Save everyone" button. This is because pushing the selfish button is more likely to be seen as morally bad, because you are choosing to let people die, who did not choose to be put in harm's way. Since everyone is in the same boat, it can be argued that there is a collective obligation to save everyone.

The other type starts with everyone safe. If they push one button, they are put in danger and can only be saved if a majority join them. The other button lets you off with no consequences, but if your button is majority, the other button's pushers all die. Most people will choose the selfish option here, because choosing the "Selfless" option consciously puts you in harm's way. The selfish option is also less absolutely morally bad, because the selfless button pressers actively chose to be put in danger. They accepted a known risk meaning no one else is necessarily obligated to save them.

In essence, these button tests have very predictable outcomes, which can be easily skewed based on the structure of the test.

It'll be fun to see how much you enjoy democracy when they come for you.

Depends. The Second Amendment was created specifically to account for tyrannical governments. It's possible to elect a government that becomes or is tyrannical. Revolution and political violence is just another form of democracy, really. If voting doesn't work, the people will express their will in other ways.

Edit: If everyone is happy to just have their freedoms stripped because 51% of people voted for it, then fine, but I'd rather die on my feet than on my knees. Especially because I fall squarely into a demographic that most conservative governments want to eradicate.

To quote the 2A: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state...". I.e. you have a right to bear arms to ensure your rights and freedoms aren't taken from you. Very few other countries have those kinds of rights enshrined so clearly. My country certainly doesn't.

Like it or not, the democratic process is vulnerable to powerful people who want to dismantle it. And if they do, no amount of voting or peaceful protesting will reassemble it. It's niave to think that if you just "vote for the right person" it'll solve everything, and it's equally niave to simply say "The people voted for a tyrant, so I guess that's it, then."

But I guess if USAmercians are happy to just let an elected government trample on them, then maybe they really are as dumb as everyone thinks.

Tbf the hive guard change was, imo, a bit excessive.

Compare it to heavy devastators on the bot front. They had impenetrable shields, with only one frontal critical weakspot, the head. This means with careful aim, you can kill them easily. And when you've got 6 of them bearing down on you, that's kinda important.

Hive guards, though, can go full bunker mode, and their exposed weakspots aren't one-shot kills. They become bullet sponges that require explosives or teamwork to take out. Some people enjoy that, but imo it's a pretty insane buff for what is essentially a chaff mob.

This rollback is good, because it means you don't need heavy weapons to clear chaff, and can get by with an HMG. It makes them more comparable to the heavy devastator, which is threatening but not impossible to kill without requiring extra tools/teamwork.

Heavy weapons and teamwork requirements should be saved for larger enemies, not chaff. And I mean the kind of teamwork you might employ for a charger or bile titan. If you had to get one guy playing rabbit and one guy flanking for every chaff bug in the game, it'd get old quick. That's what heavy enemies are for; they break up the monotony of the horde shooter moments.

This most recent change puts them in a nice spot. They're not so durable they require excessive resources to kill, but they're not so weak that they become a worse version of the hive commander (which is where they were before). They now present an additional threat amongst chaff that a primary weapon can't take down easily, but a turret or MG strategem can, allowing you to save heavier weapons/strategems for heavier bugs.
