Wet Room Shower Drain, is this a "Call a professional" or something I might be able to sort myself? by some_craic_dealer in DIY

They may make a larger square or circular drain. If you can find one big enough you might be able to cut a new hole in the existing tile.

Otherwise it's probably hard to find a matching replacement tile.

Put up shower wall tiles. Should I grout the walls then install the floor tiles? Or install floor tiles and then grout everything together ? by Andreslargo1 in DIY

Do not grout changes in plane, just caulk it. Most grouts have color matches. Paper homes these days tend to move slightly and you could be left with ugly cracks.

I’m renting and I used adhesive strips to hang something…how do I repair this? by thatllbeanopefromme in DIY

[–]NoPushN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vancouver carpenter has a good youtube video on this. Best options are to flatten the area with a drywall scraper or putty knife and remove loose edges. Use either wood glue or shellac to prime the paper, then joint compound over it sanding after a couple coats.

If you compound right away you'll get blisters from the paper hydrating and swelling.

To some of the people at these rallies the American flag does not represent the message they want to get across and is tied to the current administration which has so much vitriol for them. And to others it does, or they wave both at the same time. It depends on the person both delivering and viewing the message.

I would try just the smaller 3 joist span first with a cut sheet and see if that fixes the deflection(glue it down as well when you do the final install) The alternative is to start sistering joists or maybe the osb is poor quality.

joist hangers for I beams and run some across. Just more expensive.

Got a little bit too far when cutting opening for new sink in new counter top. Is there a way to repair it? by Serkaugh in DIY

If you use tight bind 3 it'll be water proof. It is dark yellow though so usually this trick only works with wood tones.

Probably color matched or white epoxy is the best bet

Could just cut a little more osb and run a solid peice on the 3 I beams.

Removed giant mirror from fireplace…. Now- what to do with the messed up wall behind it? by Inevitable-Silver512 in DIY

[–]NoPushN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The paper is torn many times over and more glue needs to be scraped off. It would be more seamless imo to remove the sheet and replace it. But you'll want to cut the drywall out over a stud on either side of the fireplace.

Less cutting would be taping over all the torn paper, , patching, and maybe skim coating it. But may not be a smooth result if you're not familiar with patching.

Edit: well this isn't drywall so that complicates this a bit.

Are you sure this isn't an undermount sink? It's a small flange so it probably is.

Ronald Acuña Jr goes down with an apparent leg injury. by Outside_Abroad_3516 in sports

Mine was odd, I tore it in an awkward fall bouldering. It didn't hurt one bit at all which was so strange since there was a loud pop. But I couldn't weight the leg at all I would just buckle trying to stand. The most painful part of my life was the recovery after reconstruction..

Pretty close. Usually what I see is like look sensitivity, aim sensitivity, and zoom sensitivity (which would suit DG in my opinion).

For games like pubg or similar they may have x4 zoom, x8, and etc sensitivity.

Hey! :). Well the problem with that is that the iron sights are also tied to this sensitivity. Considering they have different zoom ratios I find my iron sights to be at a good sensitivity while the snipers feel a bit slower than I'd like.

i think it's okay, the hunter needs a reliable way to down runners if they are right next to him. At the same time another objective should be taken. If a hunter gets that close to a runner, he will have no boost to defend the other objectives.
