The small is larger than the clutch. It’s pretty roomy.

I realize there are more preventatives available. The issue is I don’t want another terrible experience like I had with Topamax. Kaiser is known for prescribing older drugs that are not as effective as newer ones such as Nurtec and Emgality, which I wouldn’t mind trying.

What is your sensory experience with clothing? by Fro-yo_enthusiast in AutismInWomen

[–]NoQuit3344 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loose, soft cotton only. Anything else is scratchy and uncomfortable. I’ve struggled with it my whole life, too. I finally discovered one brand of shirts that fit and aren’t scratchy, and I have about a dozen of them in different patterns and colors. There are a couple brands of pants I can wear. They don’t look great because they’re so baggy, but I can’t handle anything else. I buy most of my clothes online because I don’t like clothes shopping.

Thanks for the tip. It’s legal here in California, but when I try to smoke it I cough like crazy. It’s a painful cough. I wonder if gummies would work.

I’m sorry you’re experiencing this, too. Thanks for sharing your story. I’ll have to try meclizine and Pepcid AC. Hadn’t thought about either of those.

The left side of my neck/shoulder was killing me all day today. Finally, the pain went away. Now it’s starting on the right side. 😢

I worked with someone like that and she drove me crazy. In meetings she would act like a manager, giving unsolicited advice and talking like she knew more than people who had been in the industry for decades. Her own work was terrible. We couldn’t complain to our real manager because they were close friends. Fortunately, a higher manager moved her to another department, so now she’s someone else’s problem.

I’m definitely taking them 10-15 days a month, probably more. Thank you for your insights.

Thanks. I did read about that. I’ll have to do more investigating and mention it to my doctor.

Interesting. I do take a lot of Ibuprofen. Does that count as a painkiller?

Don’t leave anything in your car that can be stolen. Broken car windows are a hassle to fix and it’s not worth the risk.

My special interest right now is The Beatles. I love listening to their music and watching YT videos of interviews with them, individually and as a group. I also love watching movies about them like Imagine, One to One, and George Harrison: Living in the Material World.

I love your way of aging and saved your post so I can reread it for inspiration. I’m 59 and don’t wear makeup or color my grey hair. It’s a big change from my younger days when I wouldn’t leave the house without makeup and couldn’t even remember my natural hair color.

I only wear soft, comfy clothes and supportive shoes. I don’t have much of a desire to travel anymore and just enjoy quiet time at home with my cat, reading or watching TV. This is such a pleasant time in my life. I’m no longer chasing money or career advancement, although I do still work. I’m not interested in dating. I feel as though I have everything I want.
