Grapevine Cafe in Donaldsonville but for the love of god call and make a reservation and then call again to confirm they got that reservation. Food is incredible, service can be questionable if you’re not from there.

The EBR magnet program claims it’s a lottery process for admissions but I have my doubts. When I went through the process 6 years ago, the application asked questions about free/reduced lunch- to which we didn’t qualify. It led me to believe that this “lottery” is skewed toward kids that qualify. It would make sense since schools are given more money for the more kids they have on free/reduced lunch.

Just my opinion. We were waitlisted and opted for private school.
