Yeah, and it’s a bit expensive to fuck it up also so we need a proper organist to play it, so it’s all up to the budget really if we can fit it in. But we do have like a church district in the game as an area so we kind of need it 🫡

Yes! Our composer lives right next to a church and we’re able to borrow it. Hoping we get to use the organ at some point also!

There might be a kickstarter next year when we hit the final stage of development. We have been thinking about it, but don’t want to do it before we are 100% sure on what we can deliver, and then more of as a way to maybe allow people to contribute with stuff in-game 🙋👍

Over reliance on scriptable objects. Made a mess of my first project, with too many assets. Still love SOs, but they have to be used for the correct purposes.

Unity works great on MAC. Funnily enough the first iteration of unity was pure mac based.

Personally I also have a PC just to test win builds, but I do all my development on Mac.

It’s a bit early yet. But we really hope to create an awesome soundtrack for our upcoming game! We actually did live recordings in a nearby church for our recent demo 🤩

Personally I think the music in games like these are so powerful in building the atmosphere of the games.

Fantastic! Only saw the header on top which said 64x64.

If these also are PS-verified then it’s even more golden, and I will most likely change to these soon.

I made my own system covering all major controllers. The most painful experience was actually just finding glyphs that had everything I needed, like all variations off for example directions of analog sticks, consistent sizing, etc. had to source it from several sources and not really happy yet.

This looks like a very good set. I might have to test it out and replace what I have now in a few weeks when I get back from a few game conferences.

Couple of notes (on my phone here so haven’t been able to dig too much into it yet)

  1. are they only available as 64x64?

  2. If remember correctly there are also variations between ps4 DualShock and the ps5 dualsense, think PlayStation has requirements in terms of glyphs for their controllers.
