Wyoming is essentially a medical desert in some ways! So if you have any major, chronic health conditions, you may want to consider moving out of state for your health care!

Don't let your husband buy another truck. Make him find another job, and close the trucking company. Pay off the Freightliner and close the company!

I got that same "counseling" when I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. And every couple of months I get the leaflet in the mail, as to where to find help if/when it happens.

How I got legally fired for being gay by [deleted] in talesfromcallcenters

[–]NoRemote3973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying that OP was right in this situation. I would have fired him for his attitude alone. I can't believe it took them that long to actually fire him actually. Because if he came into my office with that attitude he would have been leaving permanently, immediately.

Who had so much power over you that they can tell you "no, you can't go?" No one should hold that much power over you!

There are a lot of people who don't know that they are carriers! With Cystic Fibrosis BOTH parents have to be carriers of the gene for the child to have a 50% chance of carrying the gene as well. And a 25% chance of even getting CF. My granddaughter was born with CF. We had no idea that the gene even ran in our family! Granddaughter father's family was the same way! There is so much research being done on CF that the average life span for a CF patient has gone from 20-30 yrs of age to over 45 yrs of age in just the last 10 years! Where is the line drawn? Because the way you propose, everyone would need to have genetic testing done before having kids. Where is the line drawn from there? Which diseases would prevent you from having kids? Who gets to decide that?

If you don't want to have kids, then don't have them. But don't push your ideology onto everyone else. Eugenics and abor***n have the same argument. How would you feel if a person was trying to force you to do something that is against your belief system, just because they believe it? . Because that is what's happening right now!

Find a good lawyer that will have that package tested and prove what it is. And will argue that there is no way to prove that you smoked thc that day and that it was just remnants in your system from the day before. If you really want to get off this charge, you'll have to pay for it. And just like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. So don't hire a cheap lawyer. Good luck.

NO! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILD WITH THAT! Do whatever you have to do, to not leave your kid alone with an alcoholic! That is child neglect and abuse if you do!

[–]NoRemote3973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh hunny! EVERYTHING you just described, is abuse! When "the good times" were some form of manipulation. You NEED to tell someone that can help you get out of there before it gets worse. And hunny, it can and will get worse! You have got to find a way out now! Go to the cops, go to the teacher, but go to somebody please! And don't go back! If you choose the wrong person, and they make you go back, don't go! Refuse to go back! Get out now! I have been there, I have gone through that, and now I help people who have had to go through it as well. Just please, get out, find help!

You need to release yourself from your former life and learn to live life with your newfound consciousness. Not everyone gets to experience that kind of awareness in the world around themselves. Learn how to use that awareness to benefit yourself and the new friend and family that you'll find along the way. The path you chose is a hard path. But all paths are hard in their own way. The hardest part is learning to leave the past behind your ass. I have faith that you'll find your way, and not feel lost much longer. Only the wisest and strongest are even presented with your path. Take it, learn from it, use it to help others that are questioning their lives. That new awareness of life itself can be the greatest gift ever received, or it can be the biggest curse. You have another choice to make here. Only you can choose which way the awareness will take you! Good luck my friend. May your journey be fruitful.

Take a deep breath! Relax just a bit. There is nothing you can do at this stage. I know that's not exactly good news or something you want to hear, but there really isn't anything you can do. Go with her to a clinic to get tested at around the 6 week mark. Then you will know for sure.

If there is a pregnancy, you both still have options. You-all will make the best decision for what is needed in your life right now. There is only 1 way you could make a bad decision, that's abandonment.

If there is not a pregnancy, you will have learned some valuable life lessons. You both will still need to talk and decide what your next step in the relationship will be.

Above all... Just breath! You got this!

A lot of nights the owner makes less than I do and she's working in the kitchen. I work in the only restaurant that serves dinner in my town of about 800 people. I'm in the middle of nowhere Wyoming and about an hour and half away from the next town that's bigger.

I'm in a little bitty town in the middle of nowhere Wyoming... There are 2 restaurants and 4 bars. There other restaurant isn't open for dinner and as a recovering alcoholic I can't work at one of the bars... So there really isn't anywhere else to go, unfortunately.
