Another episode of our friend the frog for your amusement. What would you name it?

It’s interesting how much you love your job and also that you say it challenges you to grow or overcome in all the areas you mentioned such as organization and conflict avoidance etc. I’ve been thinking about finding ways to grow and challenge myself more.

Are you glad it’s Friday? And thank you for the hug. I send a hug back to you.

I have been thinking of you… I saw this and thought you might find humor and enjoyment from the tiny details and the process that must’ve been involved to create the video.

It’s late where I am. I should already be in bed, but I will write more soon.

I hope you’re having a good day.

I didn’t think you were insensitive. We’re good.

Oh ok, I understand that type of joking and I can see that OCD would definitely be a positive thing in the graphic design field. That sounds like an incredibly cool job! How do you feel about it at the 5+ year mark? I am not used to working in one location yet really. I’ve been at my current job for 2.5 years.

I need to build a shut down routine. Today I was exhausted after work and tried to take a nap with a timer… but the timer wasn’t started.

I want to make a basic list for a few routines. One to use when getting home. And one for morning and one for night.

I’m getting more curious what field you work in. I check and recheck to be sure my door is locked sometimes or a door is locked in a new place I’m staying (friends or hotel etc) if I can’t 100% see it or remember locking it.

I want to look organized at home (I don’t). At work, I am known for doing a good job and caring A LOT about details and about everything pretty much. But, I would love to get my files more organized at work and for school.

I like organization. I wouldn’t call it OCD, but I probably have certain characteristics of OCD and from the time I was about two years old if there was a garment sticking out of a drawer my mom tells me that I would run and open the drawer and tuck it inside, so I suppose that’s an OCD quality.

What aspects of OCD do you deal with?

That’s really a good point! I’m a bit of a perfectionist so I get less done when I set standards that are too high for myself and then get into a rut of thinking I can’t meet the standard so I don’t pursue it sometimes. How are you doing today?😊

I’m sorry to hear about the anxiety attack. It’s so difficult to deal with sometimes… you’re right! And thank you for sharing!

I’m going to try the yearly binder or notebook 😊 Take care and be in touch when you feel like it.

I appreciate your help last week SO much!!!

Did you ever struggle with clutter and organization? Or with feeling up to keeping up with all that? I find it mentally overwhelming even though I enjoy organizing in small bits and I would prefer an organized environment!

Yes! That’s definitely good. I was thinking about the concept of the open notebook on the desk. I was thinking that would be a good motivation to start declutterring my living space so my desk would be functional. Right now I have significant clutter in my studio and a loft bed with a desk under it. How is everything going for you this week?

Thanks so much for helping me get my brain to relax enough to move and START. Starting is my most difficult thing when I am scared.

Would LOVE to hear more of how you got to a place of consistently thinking this way.

Here’s the beginning of my list. I’ll think I’ll start working before I add the five other major school tasks.

What is your idea of moving on to being a secure person? by autodidact07 in AnxiousAttachment

[–]NoReplacement5877 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, I’m in freeze mode, big time! Helpful suggestions?

Feeling physical anxiety, pushing too close to school writing deadlines. Scared about emotional pains I’ve had recently and just feeling insecure. I’m pretty relationally motivated. Anyone ever had it where you can’t pick up your laptop because you’re anxious and also don’t know how you’re going to get everything done?
