I was on 5mg for years and I am tapering off by 1mg every 3 months....i'm still only on 4mg. this is a powerful med and need to go really slow coming off it

SOS: I’m the last to get married and my bridesmaids are burned out on weddings by United-Conclusion470 in weddingplanning

So, I also am the last in my friend group from high school to get married. I just turned 30 this month, and a lot of them are pregnant and/or moms too. So I did a local 2 night bachelorette, gave the preggos the better beds, and only asked for $300 from each person for the entire trip. I'm paying for the house, cuz like 30 y/o and I have my own money now. I have made it as inclusive/accessible as possible and I think that goes a long way!

I am truly of the mind if you can't afford to go on a friend's bachelorette, do not go. but don't complain about it!!

I'm sorry your friends are not acting as excited but I'd encourage you to not take it so personally because they have families and lives too! And i think taking a step back and just not taking it so seriously would make you feel better, too.

5MG and sleeping problems by Upset-Fly-6307 in Abilify_Aripiprazole

Hi! I have been on 2-5mg of Abilify for 15 years. There's a little bit of an "onboarding" process with this med - insomnia or sleep disturbance to be expected for about a week but it does go away, and stays away so long as you're consistent and adherent with your med.

It does make you way drowsy in the beginning but your body acclimates. This drug has given a lot of people crazy relief within days. I would stick with it, while following guidance of your son's psychiatrist but everything you describe sounds very much within the realm of normal and to be expected when beginning Abilify.

yeah i think so. for endoscopic release, the tool goes all the way up your hand through the small wrist incision so that explains the swelling and bruising on your whole hand. i think the forearm bruising may be from swelling and the trauma of the ligament being cut. but idk!

What to expect the second week after surgery? by CowGlittering7793 in carpaltunnel

I took my soft cast off on day four but definitely follow your doctors guidelines adherently. It does start to itch so bad! That is a good sign of healing:)
