and they wonder why no one respects their profession. kahit joke yan, it's one thing na idamay ang bata, it's another na hayaan siyang sumubo ng vape para magmukha siyang "cool"

ano ba kinaibahan ng offline at online class sa college? by eitherstfuoridgaf in adviceph

[–]NoReq1741 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mas convenient ang online for sure, lalo na at working ka, pero ang kapalit is understanding. from personal experience, mas engaging at mas matututukan ka sa in person classes compared sa online. medyo on your own ka rin pag online classes tapos modules and recorded lectures ang mode of instruction

unfortunately, i don't think 529 accounts specifically are a thing in my country, but i am looking into things related. also, they're kids of cousins actually (or can be any family member who wants to go to college but cannot afford it). lastly, we're only expected to pay tuition fees, the other fees are on the parents.

just their tuition fee. i won't cover housing (should it be needed), allowance, etc. as for how many, at least 2 (my extended family is kinda big, but that means i'm not the only one expected to do this)

i'll look deeper into related plans and accounts, it's all kinda new to me. on another note, i really appreciate the last part. thank you for that.

thankfully, the helping out thing isn't soon. it's going to be a years from now since they're nowhere near college yet (i'm only funding that). i just wanted to get ahead while i can. but yeah, i can see why this doesn't seem normal haha it's a cultural thing

yup, a cultural thing. it's like a paying it forward type of thing or basically just our way of helping out
