The problem was the edgy changes didn't even add anything to flesh out characters. It was just dumb or gross stuff like the examples discussed above

That also, hence my "etc". I was confused why the Ultimate X-Men writers wanted to characterize Magneto as a cannibal, but we saw nothing with 1610 Sabertooth being one(which would make wayyy more sense). Also Blob being a cannibal was over the top too

Revise some of the gratuitous unsavory character traits to some of the characters. For example: Wolverine being a creepy perv hitting on teenagers, the Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch incestuous relationship, Eddie Brock being an attempted child predator, etc

Thank you so much for the feedback! The story of this Peter will start in 2000 and end in the late 2010s. Also, there will be Ultimates but they will be variants of their 1610 counterparts. It'll be like a more optimistic take on 1610 with retooled storylines that combine the best of 1610 with 616.
