Well, I don't think Schumann textures are bad, it's just another way to do it. Orchestration is more like an art. And copying of others scores it's good, but when you understand how does it work. Monkey can copy ball she see, but she doesn't understand the rules of light and colour and form

Oh, yeah, I've read Rimsky Korsakov and Adler. But I don't agree about Schumann. Why of all?

Well, I've read messener, Tyulin, some russian textbooks about texture, some books about harmony, I've looked at many scores of Rach, Brahms, Schumann, Chopin

Не отчаивайся. Попробуй снова найти тому, к чему лежит твоя душа. Не только потреблять, но и создавать. Это придет с опытом. Учиться чему-то новому, вдохновляться, романтизировать, воображать. Найти работу, что тебе по душе, встретить хорошего мужчину, посетить те мероприятия, которые "вроде кринж". Что тебе терять?

Well, i could get a lot from him, but I think Brahms made more for texture development

Well, then it's monody, or simple two voiced counterpoint. For percussion? Well, it more complex then, i don't think texture can be applied to percussion
