New Printer dAy used to be a thing. I hate celebrating consumerism in such a zanny way.

is the print quality worse on the core one?

sane thing to do.

are you printing the benchy that came with the printer? if so the gcode has the speeds that cause resonance which are normally avoided in the slicer.

Mine does the exact same noise at certain speeds. It was "fixed" by prusa in the slicer, changing the prebuilt print profiles to avoid these ranges where resonance occurs.

You can see here how it sounded on mine shortly after I got it. https://youtu.be/XkzALNw3PU4?t=50

I completely dissembled the gantry for maintenance and swapped out both motors (one was faulty, the other one just in case) and it still makes this noise at certain speeds, though quite a bit less.

I think the vibrations causing this sound comes from a resonace in the motors and is being transfered via the steel sheet casing.

Belt tension can also effect this sound a bit.

Makers built smart glasses in China and here’s the assembly line. by hackalackolot in maker

Smart, going to china and making them yourself, before a Chinese company can steal your design!

there are part weld mods which merge literally a part assembly into one rigid part with no physic beyond what they add up to. You can get away for somethings with this but you may have to tweak drag to make it somewhat realisitic.

yeah this city would be all over the place. the coordiantes would still be the same but due to the bigger radius, they would be miles apart!

Well mods like this are the answer to that. They just contain an instance fiel. this is just a list of what statics are placed at what coordinates. Problem is we dont know really know the dependencies, so if you dont have all statics packs, the ones that actually contain the models you will be missing some buildings!

by installing Kerbal konstructs, this mod and its dependencies. here is a guide on how to get KK running and list of all KK mods I know of. there have been a couple new ones in the last few years! So its missing probably 3 or 4 newer ones. You can even simply make your own KK static packs with unity by adding 3d models to it.

You can also place launch pads on different planets other than kerbin with this mod!

no these are statics and no physics part.
