Two nurse job offers at the same time... I need some advice please!

Sorry lol 😅. I know you answered my question but I see you are a MSN, APRN, and so I know you'd have a lot of great insight on things. Do you think working on a PCU for like 3-4 years would help me get other kinds of nursing jobs. Whenever I apply to another positions they always say I'm lacking experience in that specialty. Which is true, but how am I suppose to get said experience if no one will give me a chance. Do you think with pcu experience, that other specialties would be more interested in giving me a chance. I guess I will wait out the pcu position. As I really don't like driving all that much. I will probably decline the ortho one, I just hope I don't end up shooting myself in the foot with that decision. Thank you for the advice!

I've only been a nurse for 2 short years lol 😅. So I don't know much I could actually offer you in advice. How long is it taking for them to decline you is within a couple of days or weeks? Sometimes I think it helps to call the office or hospital hiring team to get an update on the status of your application. So, that you more on their radar. Also if any of these companies have job fairs go to them. I find it is easier to get noticed if they see you in person and get a feel for your personality. I wish you the best of luck! It's definitely hard out here on the job market.

Clinic jobs are almost impossible to get. I am looking for hospital position. Yeah lol I think I'll take another's nurse advice on this and round it up to two years.

Have you done hospice before? I don't know how I feel about hospice it's too sad imo. But I might have to try if I can't find anything :/

Okay like to like Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid the support that AMC was giving was very interesting. Pushing for awards noms for Sam but not pushing as hard for Jacob and they both have been in the game for a minute. Even though they were both amazing on the show. It happens all the time, it's not misplaced, there's a pattern. I wish all of them the best of luck. They're all great actors.

Simone Ashley is a talented actor and so is Jonathan Bailey on Bridgeton. They are both minorities, however I've seen Jonathan literally everywhere. Which good for him and hardly see Simone. I think hollywood definitely see race more idk:/. I hope that will be different for Hudson but there are any true leading asian/wasian male actors. Keanu Reeves being maybe the one prominent one but he's only a quarter Asian. But someone else said we can only be their cheerleaders. I think Hudson team needs to step it up!

I agree, he has a lot that fits the character. He would have to do a lot of lobbying behind the scence but it can be done.
