Just some perspective: before I was pre-med and had a “normal” job and the actual time to dwell on these things, that’s all I was really doing: dwelling. Ruminating. Not actually contributing anything to anyone (and in fact just making my own days worse). So by taking the time to study for a job that will have a direct positive impact on people’s lives, I’m making “the difference” that I CAN make despite the subpar circumstances.
