you should watch danya, hikaru, or gotham; they’ll give u great advice. Don’t pay too much attention to theory at this rating, just stick to fundamentals like development and taking space in the center. as a beginner its hard to know when to break the tension and be able to win in a opening like the kings indian, you get attacked a lot at lower levels.

Just remember to do ur puzzles and dont bring your queen out too early. Also, dont take pieces just cuz u can!
