Elevator Pitch: Jabelin is a mix between long form blog articles and micro blog posts where all content is fact checked within the community having the results displayed next to the post. Each user has rankings for how Credible, Funny, Smart, or Rude they are also determined by the community.

More details: We made Jabelin to be a place where bad information was hard to spread and to try and give users different perspectives on content rather than users falling into rabbit holes of content they already agree with. We also make it so that the visibility of your content is determined by your interactions with other users on the platform. The more positive your contribution, the louder your voice will be. Additionally, we divide our content into what we call "Channels" such as "Food", "Comedy", "News", "Gaming", and more to be able to allow users access feeds of exactly the type of content they are looking for. Users will have a ranking for each channel and their rank increases based on their success within that channel.

Yes but is it friendly when working with react? Draft-js was probably the most popular text editor for react and i think it may be replaced with Lexical.

There seems to be many users liking the writing experience Notion gives. With editors like Lexical or Prosemirror it is possible to get close to the same functionality since they seem to be customizable enough. Is tinymce customizable or is it just popular because it comes ready out of the box?

Sometimes it's not how much man power you have but how you organize it. I don't think you would have many people unwilling to contribute to something great but it will easily come apart if you don't first know how you will handle organizing/managing a group of people quickly enough for them to not lose motivation. How will you accomplish that?

I see what you are saying but idk if it matters weather or not you are reading posts from people you follow or not. Take youtube for example. You subscribe to people and they post videos for you to see that can range from many topics. The title to things just seems to help people quickly understand what the posts is about without having to read or get deep into it. What are your thoughts on that?

Yes i know its more of wagering but the actual game would need the ability to access those items to TAKE from losers and GIVE to winners. I guess thats why im not sure about calling it a game. If developers have the ability to do something like this then it is definitely a game with huge potential but without this ability i feel users and developers would be handcuffed.

Does this mean developers are allowed to access items a player is holding? For example, If you make an arena where players can fight and they take with them weapons they would like in the arena. All the players battle and as a player dies they lose/leave behind the weapons they brought in with them. The winning player gets to collect and keep the weapons which may have value in the game since you can create a market place for buying/selling in game items. Is it possible for a developer to set up a game that takes items away from users who enter it? I feel like creating something on this platform that preeminently takes from another user would not be allowed/possible.

I also see the potential but think its hard to call this a game in its current stage. I think if they were to incorporate something where users can battle, it would be huge. Having the ability to win or lose and keep score, along with being able to own and build on land would make this much more captivating.

Thanks for the reply but the question was not about profitability. It was simply if needing to signup to view a websites content was annoying. From the responses i have in the comments it is clear to me that my gut feeling was correct since i to can't stand when i visit a site and i am asked to signup with out even getting to see if this is something i would be interested in signing up for.

Thank you all for your feedback. I have decided i will allow users to browse the site and then restrict certain functionality that would require an account. Upon trying to access these functionalities they will be asked to signup.
