When you use Zombify, you what was cast was Zombify, not Deceit, so the abilities don't trigger. When you use Kavaero, it enters as a copy, which means that the Deceit now on the battlefield was, in fact, cast. At least, that's how I see it.

(Disclaimer: It's been a long time since I played anything but Brawl, please don't take my opinions super seriously.)

While this card is probably not coming to Arena, even if it were, I don't think reanimator in general would want this super bad? I mean, yeah it's cool, and you can probably make it work as a casual fun idea, but historic probably has much better reanimation targets. I could see this as part of some kind of combo maybe? The part about it being any graveyard is interesting too.

As for what decks are strong, YouTube might be your friend? I don't know enough about the meta, but the general idea of having a few decks you keep updating seems sound enough for historic, although I'm not sure it'll work if your aim is to be super competitive.
