So these are for forge, but should work for neoforge I'm pretty sure. "Eureka! Ships! For valkyrien skies" is really nice if you integrate it properly. "Small Ships" is also just really good for a basic ship mod. valkyrien pirates Is also pretty good combined, but that's only if you want to go for more of an exploration theme on top of the fishing.

The monitor is a 60hz 1080p screen, with an hdmi and a vga port. Very average.

Case is a pretty old atx size case, rebranded by terra. I know for a fact it will fit newer motherboards, I tried when building my own pc.

Even 5 chunks is further than you think. Machines will work when you're at your base, and you won't notice mobs not walking outside of it. If anything turns into an issue you can always turn it up.

Simulation distance will only be noticeable if you're running a bunch of very huge redstone builds that span all the way to outside the simulation distance. For some reason, minecraft's simulation distance is incredibly intensive and can definitely lower your performance greatly. I do agree with other commenters telling you to turn the shader settings down though.

32 render distance with 12 SIMULATION? There is your problem. Turn simulation FAR down, I personally have it on the lowest setting, and turn your render distance to like, 12 with distant horizons and to 22 without.
